EMDR Therapy

Move beyond simply managing symptoms and shift into true trauma recovery.

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that can help you heal from traumatic memories so they no longer carry the emotional intensity or negative beliefs that may be impacting your daily life.

EMDR combines imagery, mindfulness, and cognitive techniques to help you process stressful or painful life experiences. It is often used to treat trauma and anxiety, but it can help resolve many other mental health conditions as well.

Using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, taps, or tones), we help your brain access and re-integrate difficult memories in a calmer, more adaptive way - without needing to re-tell every detail of the story.

What is EMDR?

EMDR is highly effective for those who are experiencing:

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Hypervigilance

  • Frequent triggers that interrupt your daily life

  • Anxiety or panic attacks

  • Feelings of numbness

  • Intrusive thoughts

  • Difficulty connecting in relationships

  • Negative self-beliefs (“I am unsafe,” “I am broken or damaged,” etc.)

Who can EMDR help?

You don’t have to fully understand what happened to you before you begin EMDR.

Let’s move forward, and we’ll help you let go together.
